Using ScrollChef

ScrollChef helps you turn submitted cooking links into recipe information. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

Submitted links and content

Submit only links and information that you are permitted to use. Respect creators' rights, platform terms, and applicable law. Do not use ScrollChef to infringe copyright, evade access controls, upload malicious material, interfere with the service, or create abusive automated traffic.

Recipe extraction can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review generated ingredients, quantities, instructions, dietary information, and food safety details before relying on a recipe.

Accounts, availability, and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the beta service to protect users, comply with law, or operate the service. We may restrict or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect ScrollChef and its users.

Payments and third parties

If payment features using Stripe are enabled, payment processing is provided by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe's terms. ScrollChef also uses OpenAI for recipe processing, Resend for email delivery, and Cloudflare for edge, security, and delivery services. Their services are governed by their respective terms and policies.

Privacy and recipe access

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account, submitted-link, recipe, and operational data. Export options are available for saved recipes and cookbooks. You may request account-data deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and governing location

ScrollChef is provided as a beta service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, use is at your own risk. These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia, USA, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections.
